A modest cottage, once an empty shell with no historic detailing, was transformed into a richly textured and quietly atmospheric home through a considered layering of natural materials, antiques and sculptural forms.

The design aimed to create a sense of timelessness, despite the building's lack of architectural heritage. Rooted in the rhythms of rural life, the interiors feel grounding and enduring, a calm backdrop for the everyday rituals of country living.
